Federal Judge's Chambers
Albert Architecture worked closely with the General Services Administration on this renovation project. The judge’s chambers, courtroom, and clerk’s offices on the first floor of the Federal Building and United States Courthouse in Fort Lauderdale, Florida were completely remodeled to meet the stringent needs of the federal design guidelines and special security provisions. Albert Architecture coordinated meticulously with the general contractor and the federal government to ensure that a high quality project was delivered on a quick schedule. Unique architectural elements within the building were preserved, while new materials and finishes were selected to complement the existing spaces. Stately millwork was included to provide a seamless transition between the judge’s chambers and the courtroom.
