This project, currently in the design development stage, includes extensive interior renovations of the 1927 11-story Goodhue Building located at 398 Pearl Street in Beaumont, Texas. The first floor will be three unfinished open spaces for future commercial tenants. The upper floors will be converted into generously sized one and two-bedroom apartments with expansive views of the up-and-coming downtown neighborhood. The highly detailed lobby and common corridors, with their multi-colored marble, polished brass, polychromatic and gold leaf elements will be restored to their original luster. Albert Architecture also prepared a detailed set of plans and photographic documentation for the State and Federal Historic Tax Credit application.
